Frequently Asked Questions

General

RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) is a GPS correction technology that improves positioning accuracy from several meters to centimeter-level precision. It works by receiving real-time correction data from a nearby base station via an NTRIP connection, allowing your rover or receiver to compute highly accurate positions.
RTK is essential for surveying, construction, agriculture, mining, drones, maritime operations, and autonomous systems — any application where centimeter-level positioning accuracy is required.
Standard GPS can be off by several meters, while our RTK corrections provide centimeter-level accuracy. The difference is significant for professional applications where precision matters.

Service & Coverage

We offer nationwide U.S. coverage with over 3,500 base stations. Our network is built on GEODNET, which has 10,000+ stations globally. Coverage density is highest in populated areas and agricultural regions.
No! Our RTK network eliminates the need for a personal base station by delivering high-accuracy corrections directly to your rover via NTRIP. Just connect and go.
We support industry-standard formats like RTCM 3.x, ensuring compatibility with most RTK-enabled devices.

Subscription & Pricing

We offer flexible plans: Monthly at $40/month and Annual at $400/year (saving $80). We also have a free 7-day trial with no credit card required.
Yes! We offer a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. Sign up, get your NTRIP credentials instantly, and test the accuracy for yourself.
Absolutely. We offer contract-free plans, meaning you can cancel or modify your subscription at any time through your dashboard.

Compatibility & Setup

Our RTK corrections work with any RTK-enabled device that supports NTRIP, including brands like Trimble, Leica, Topcon, DJI, Emlid, Septentrio, Hemisphere, John Deere, and many more.
You need an RTK-enabled GNSS receiver, an internet connection (cellular or WiFi), and an NTRIP client (built into most modern receivers). That's it.

Simply enter our NTRIP server address, port, and your credentials into your device's RTK settings. It takes about 5 minutes. Your credentials are available on your dashboard immediately after signup. Username and password come from the dashboard, not your website login.

Device guides:

Most failed trials never get a FIX because of settings, not coverage. GNSS first, then connect. Mountpoint is AUTO (all caps), port 2101, GGA required, dashboard credentials only. Work the No FIX checklist, or jump to DJI Pilot 2 or Emlid Flow.
Public CORS is real. It is also rarely the five-minute path a DJI or Emlid shop wants. Texas TxDOT RTN is not self-serve for private shops. California has CORS (CRTN) with a registration wait. Florida FPRN is free if you only work Florida. See State CORS vs a $40 GEODNET hub.

Support

Most failed trials never get a FIX because of settings, not coverage. Host is rtk.geodnet.com, port 2101, mountpoint AUTO (all caps), GGA on, credentials from the dashboard only. Work the No FIX checklist, or follow DJI Pilot 2 / Emlid Flow.
Our network is built for high uptime and reliability. If a correction signal is temporarily lost, your device will revert to standard GNSS accuracy until the connection is restored.
